Abstract:The effectiveness of sprays of several insecticides for the control of larvae of Oberea brevis Gah. Ophiomyia phaseoli (Tryon) (Melanagromyza phaseoli) on soy bean was evaluated in field-plot tests in Madhya Pradesh, India, in 1970-71. The results showed that 0.02 and 0.03% sprays of diazinon applied at 10-day intervals gave the best control.
