Abstract:Naturally infected soyabean plants showed decrease of pod number, seed number, seed yield and branch number/plant but no variations in morphological characteristics such as plant height and stem node number. When plants were inoculated with dwarfing strs. of SDV by means of viruliferous Acyrthosiphon solani plant height and stem node numbers were reduced. Inoculation with yellowing strs. resulted in decrease of pod number, seed number, seed yield and branch number.
