Publication measured 2 variables to quantify this QTL: a ratio of 2-acetyl-1-pyrroline (2AP) to 2,4-dimethylpyridine, and an organoleptic test of volunteers assessing chewn seeds for a 1-3 scale of fragrance. The 2AP assessment values are presented above.
Results for the organoleptic evaluation were as follows: Fragrance Score (Kaori=3, CM60=1); LOD=9.9; Variation=42.9%. See publication for additional details
