We are currently organizing the agenda for the workshop and we need your help. Please suggest speakers, topics, and other agenda items that would be of interest to you and other soybean researchers.
There will be a poster session during the evening social hour on Tuesday, February 13th in the Versailles 2 room from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Anyone is welcome to display a poster. There will be a graduate student poster competition, sponsored by the commercial soybean breeders, during the poster session, and CASH prizes will be awarded Wednesday morning (1st place = $200, 2nd place = $100, and 3rd place = $50). Posters prepared for other meetings such as ASA and PAG are welcome. Please visit http://soybase.org/SBW/registration/posters.php for more information.
The floor is open to announcements at the specified time Wednesday morning. You are also welcome to notify Zenglu Li if you would like to schedule the recognition of a colleague or make other announcements from the floor.
If you plan to organize a small group meeting and need a meeting room during the workshop, please send your request to Bo Zhang no later than December 31, 2017 by indicating number of attendees, meeting date and time.
The Commercial Soybean Breeders executive board will have an area available for participants to put their company job postings. If interested, please bring several informational copies of your open positions.
Members are encouraged use the Sheraton Westport for their hotel stay. Your room reservations will help offset the costs of the meeting rooms throughout the conference and to keep the registration cost down.
The group rate for the Workshop is $140/night.
